Nothing like cold weather to make you run south of the border! I recently got to visit Cabo San Lucas, and it was fantastic! I'm a nervous traveler, but the city itself was very "Americanized" so it was pretty easy to navigate. We could see whales breaching out in the distance from the house we rented. I mean, COME ON!
We did a vacation rental by owner. If you need lots of bedrooms and like to cook some of your meals, this is a HUGE price advantage. Plus, the caretaker, Eric, was a surfer dude from southern California. He was extremely helpful as we booked adventures and explored. It made the whole stay so easy! Give VRBO a try next time you travel! We've had great luck with it.
