Cruising

So, I had my first experience on a cruise this summer. We did Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas, and it was a lot of fun! I read everything I could find before going, and my favorite organizational tips came in handy!

If you're doing a group trip, I'd recommend the following items (most picked up at the dollar store):

1. An over-the-door shoe organizer. This was handy for all those little items that collect, like hairbrushes, sunscreen, cards, etc... I'm not lucky enough to travel with neat freaks, so this one item helped my sanity more than anything! Ha!

2. On a cruise, everything is metal. I brought along some sturdy magnets, and we were able to leave notes for each other and hang our daily itinerary and necessary printouts on the WALL! Can you believe it? In a cramped space, it made finding papers so much easier.

3. We had a shocking lack of outlets (like literally one) in the room, so I was beyond happy that I stuck in a Belkin surge protector extension cord. It had outlets plus two USB plugs. Lifesaver for under $15! You can pick one up on Amazon or at big box stores.

Do you have any travel tips for cruises? I'd love to hear them!
