Have you tried...?

Have you tried Pure Barre? It is a 55 minute low-impact workout. It begins with a warm-up in the center of the room, on the floor, and then you stand with light weights to work arm muscles. After that, you move to the barre to work your thighs and your seat. After the seat work, you’ll do a series of ab exercises, followed by a cool down. While the flow of class is always the same, the instructors are always changing the music and exercises, so you never experience the same class twice! I've been doing PB for about two years, and it never gets old. Most studios seem to also either win "best gym" for their city, or are at a minimum a finalist! I know the girls at PB Riverchase are extremely loyal to Shelly and the team, and that should tell you a lot about the workout.

You can sign up for classes through the app or online (or call). Studios usually offer a free first class, class specials throughout the year, and lots of challenges to help you keep costs down.

I am stronger and in much better overall shape than I have been since I was a teenager. I think the best part, however, is that you experience a community of supportive women (and some men). And couldn't we all use a little more of that?
